The smiles were wide as students shuffled into the gym with their dates and friends.  On Saturday, January 28, 2017, Notre Dame had its annual Sadie Hawkins winter formal.  With lights strung above and stars projected on the gym, this “starry night” was certainly an unforgettable one.

Being a Sadie Hawkins event where “girls ask guys”, sophomore Tala Bressan took the initiative of asking someone to the dance.  “I was so nervous,” she revealed, “but I faced my fear and asked my boyfriend with a sign and flowers.”

From eight o’clock until eleven o’clock students sang, danced and took photos with friends and dates.  Junior class president Luke McGary said, “ASB worked immensely hard and spent many hours planning and preparing for this dance.  Nothing would have been possible without the dedicated juniors on ASB and Mr. Thomas, especially.”
